Keznamdi at the 68th Grammy Awards

Blxxd & Fyah, the latest project from reggae artiste Keznamdi, captured the Best Reggae Album award at the 68th Grammy Awards.

The announcement was made on February 1 during the awards ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

Keznamdi emerged victorious in a competitive field that included Heart and Soul by Vybz Kartel, From Within by Mortimer, No Place Like Home by Jesse Royal, and Treasure Self Love by Lila Iké.

Kartel was the sole dancehall representative among the nominees.

The win was especially significant for Keznamdi, who entered the category as a first-time Grammy nominee, alongside Mortimer and Lila Iké.

Released on August 22, 2025, Blxxd & Fyah was produced under the Keznamdi Music label.

The album features standout tracks such as Serious Times and Pressure, which helped solidify its impact with listeners and critics alike.

During his acceptance remarks, Keznamdi reflected on the cultural and historical significance of reggae music and its influence beyond Jamaica.

“Reggae music has always been a music which defends truths and rights and African liberation and black man redemption,” he said.

He also expressed gratitude to his family and team for their continued support throughout his journey.

Last year’s Best Reggae Album Grammy went to Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired by the Film.
