Delta Airlines will operate an additional round-trip flight between Atlanta and St Vincent on on January 5 to transport passengers affected by the cancellation of its flight on January 3, following US military action in Venezuela.

A passenger advisory posted by the Argyle International Airport on social media said flight DL9907 will supplement the airline’s scheduled service DL2977/2779, arriving in St Vincent at 4:12 p.m. and departing at 5:02 p.m.

The advisory said Delta said it will prioritise seating for passengers impacted by the earlier cancellation.

Customers scheduled to travel on DL2779 on January 3 are advised to contact Delta Reservations at 1-800-221-2121 or via the Help Desk at delta.com.

Seats will only be sold to the public after affected passengers are accommodated.

Delta reminded travellers to only come to the airport if they hold a confirmed reservation on either DL2779 or DL9907 and to monitor delta.com and the FlyDelta app for updates.
