Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA), Stacey Liburd, has been named to Her Network’s 2025 Women of the Year list, joining an international group of women recognised for their leadership, influence and impact across a range of industries.
Also included on the 2025 list are globally recognised figures such as Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems, Grammy Award-winning Beninese artist Angélique Kidjo, and other women shaping culture, business and public life worldwide.
The 2025 theme, “The Year of Her Power,” highlights women who are driving meaningful change through purpose-driven leadership, strategic clarity and sustained results.
Her Network previously featured Liburd in June 2025.
As CEO of the GTA, Liburd has overseen a renewed focus on destination competitiveness, market diversification and community-centred tourism development.
GTA said under her leadership, Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique have been positioned as authentic, high-value destinations within an increasingly competitive global market.
“This recognition is both humbling and affirming,” Liburd said.
“It speaks not only to my own journey but also to the collective effort of the teams and partners I work alongside every day. Leadership, particularly in tourism, is about stewardship, responsibility and creating opportunities that extend beyond the individual.”
She added that she was proud to represent Grenada in global leadership spaces and to contribute to conversations that value thoughtful and inclusive leadership.
