Curaçao has announced its starting eleven for its crucial Group E match against Ecuador at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making a tactical change after a heavy defeat in their opening game.

The Caribbean side will line up in a 5-3-2 formation at Kansas City Stadium, moving away from the 4-1-2-3 system used in their 7-1 loss to four-time champions Germany on June 14.

Head coach Dick Advocaat has made changes as Curaçao looks to respond against Ecuador and keep its hopes of advancing alive.

Eloy Room remains in goal, while the defensive line will feature Jurien Gaari, Sherel Floranus, Armando Obispo, Joshua Brenet and Deveron Fonville.

Juninho Bacuna, Livano Comenencia and Leandro Bacuna will anchor the midfield, with Tahith Chong also included in the middle of the park.

Juergen Locadia will lead the attack as Curaçao searches for a positive result against Ecuador.
