​Twenty-six acts have secured their places in the semifinals of the Brian Griffith Groovy Soca Monarch in Grenada.

​The advancing performers were announced last evening, wrapping up four nights of intense preliminary competition.

The qualifying rounds, which commenced on July 9, more than 100 artistes taking the stage at the La Sagesse Hard Court in St David.

​The successful competitors will now prepare to battle for a spot in the ultimate finals.
