PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago — Trinidadian soca artiste Denise “Saucy Wow” Belfon has appealed to the public for help finding her ex-husband and father of her children, Dexter Joseph.
Belfon made the appeal on social media, saying her family is “devastated” over Joseph’s disappearance.
According to Belfon, Joseph was admitted to the Mount Hope medical facility after experiencing seizures and has dementia. She said her daughter visited him at about 9 am but later returned and neither she nor medical staff could locate him.
Belfon said a search of the facility was conducted, after which her daughter was presented with discharge papers indicating that Joseph had been discharged.
She questioned who authorised his discharge and said her daughter had not given permission for him to leave the facility.
The family is now asking members of the public to look out for Joseph and provide any information that could help locate him.
