BANGKOK, Thailand — Miss Tanzania Jihan Dimack has been crowned Miss Grand International 2026, becoming the first woman from her country to win the title.

The 30-year-old from Dar es Salaam claimed the crown at the MGI Hall in Bangkok on October 10, outshining 77 other delegates in the competition. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Emma Tiglao of the Philippines.

Dimack’s victory also makes her the first African contestant to win Miss Grand International and only the second Black woman to claim the title.
