The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is offering USD190,000 in grants to support regional events and conferences aimed at strengthening the Caribbean’s Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).

In a statement on December 30, CDB said applications for the funding, provided through the Bank’s Cultural and Creative Industries Innovation Fund (CIIF), close on January 31, 2026.

The grants target events scheduled between March 1, 2026, and February 28, 2027, that promote sector growth, build capacity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), improve market access, or facilitate policy dialogue to enhance the regional creative economy. Activities preserving cultural heritage or providing data and market intelligence are also eligible.

Six grants will be awarded across three streams: two grants of USD25,000 will fund initiatives to improve the enabling environment for cultural industries, two grants of USD20,000 will support data intelligence projects, and two grants of USD50,000 will finance MSME market preparation and access activities.

Applicants must be formally registered entities, including NGOs, universities, Community-Based Organisations, Business Support Organisations, or government agencies serving the creative sector.

They must also demonstrate at least three years’ experience hosting industry events and contribute at least 10 per cent co-financing of the total project cost.

CDB will hold a virtual consultation on January 14 to guide potential applicants. Interested entities can submit applications via https://cdb.submittable.com/submit.

Established in 2017, CIIF provides technical and financial support to creative sector stakeholders across the Bank’s 19 borrowing member countries, with the aim of fostering innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in the Caribbean’s cultural industries.
