KLM announced it will resume flights to seven Caribbean destinations where it halted operations on January 3 due to security concerns in Venezuela following US military action.
The airline said in a statement that flights to and from Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Trinidad, Guyana and Barbados will resume on January 4.
Approximately 2,600 passengers were affected by the flight cancellations, and KLM said it is making every effort to rebook them on the next available flight.
The airline said it is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela.
Travellers have been advised to check information about their flights, as the situation may change.
