Miss Dominica 2026

Grand Bay delegate Dainisha Eusebe has been crowned Miss Dominica 2026 after emerging victorious over four other contestants during the national pageant held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium on February 13.

The competition, staged under the theme “Bouyon Bloom,” paid tribute to Bouyon music and the artistes who have helped shape the genre’s cultural influence in Dominica.

Eusebe, who was sponsored by Kingdom Bank Corporation, delivered a commanding performance throughout the competition, capturing several major awards. She secured Best Response to Question, Best Platform Community Project Video, People’s Choice Award, Best Performing Talent, and Best in Swimwear.

Her advocacy platform, “Animal Welfare: Advocating for Humane Treatment of Animals,” focused on promoting responsible care and protection for animals across the island.

Sheraine Mills, representing Jimmit and St Joseph, finished as first runner-up, while Sanchia Tyson, who represented Crayfish River in the Kalinago Territory, secured the second runner-up position.

Tyson also claimed the Chairperson’s Award for Best National Spectacular Wear Creation along with Best in National Spectacular Wear Creation.

Darna Eugene of Mahaut captured both Best Evening Wear and Best in Evening Wear, while the Best Swimwear Award went to Daina Graneau of the Atkinson/Kalinago Territory.

Organisers said this year’s pageant celebrated the vibrancy of Bouyon music, highlighting the genre’s cultural importance while showcasing the talent, creativity and community involvement of the contestants.
