Tanisha Balson of Dominica has been crowned Miss Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) 2026.

The win marks a rare achievement for Dominica, as the reigning Miss OECS 2025, Kyanna Dyer, is also from the country.

The 2026 pageant featured delegates from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. 

Contestants were judged across several categories, including Creative National Wear, Performing Talent, Swimwear, Evening Gown, and Best Question and Answer.

Miss Antigua and Barbuda, Kia Kerwan, was named first runner-up, while Miss Anguilla, Ariel Bushay, placed second runner-up.

Balson delivered a standout performance throughout the competition, dominating the special awards. 

The Miss Dominica delegate earned Best Creative National Wear, Best Performing Talent, and Best Evening Wear.

Miss Antigua and Barbuda collected Best in Evening Wear, Best in Swimwear, and the Miss Amity title, while Miss Anguilla was awarded Best Question and Answer, Best Swimwear, and Best Promotional Video.

Upon her crowning, Tanisha Balson shared her vision for her reign: “I plan to continue advocating for holistic development through the arts. I believe artistic education is vital for personal growth and discovering new talents. By nurturing these skills early on, we create real career opportunities for our youth across the region.”
