Grenadian police have charged Deron Tobias in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Terrecheal Sebastian.
Tobias, 38, a bus driver of La Poterie, St Andrew, has been charged with capital murder.
He is expected to appear before the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on February 20.
Sebastian, a sales clerk of Tivoli, St Andrew, was found dead on February 17 in Tivoli.
In a statement, the Royal Grenada Police Force said it received information about a woman’s body lying motionless on the ground. A medical doctor later examined Sebastian at the scene and pronounced her dead.
Police did not release additional details surrounding the circumstances of her death.
Later that same day, officers issued a wanted bulletin for Tobias in connection with the killing. Members of the public were urged not to approach him if seen, as he was considered armed and dangerous.
