A 42-year-old Mt Gay farmer has been charged in connection with the death of Aleandra Lett-Hypolite in Grenada.

The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) said Kade Kellon Richards was charged on February 9 with capital murder.

He was also charged with attempted rape, sexual assault, assault with a deadly instrument and wounding following investigations into separate incidents.

Lett-Hypolite, 22, was found dead on February 6, 2026 at Café, St Andrew. She reportedly sustained multiple chop wounds.

Richards is expected to appear before the St George’s #1 Magistrate’s Court on February 10, 2026.
