A shooting incident in Island Harbour, Anguilla has left one man injured, according to the Royal Anguilla Police Force.

Police said officers are investigating the incident, which occurred around 8:00 pm on March 13.

Reports received by the Joint Emergency Services Control Room indicated that gunshots were heard in the Island Harbour area, prompting officers to respond to the scene and begin investigations.

Authorities later received information that a male victim had been transported for medical treatment after sustaining gunshot injuries.

Police said several items of interest were recovered from the scene as investigations continue.
