JetBlue is expanding its Caribbean connectivity with additional flights and a new route linking the region to the United States, as it builds out its Fort Lauderdale hub.

The airline said it will introduce daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Ponce starting July 9, strengthening links between South Florida and Puerto Rico’s southern region.

JetBlue is also increasing frequencies on existing Caribbean routes from Fort Lauderdale, including services to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, as part of a wider schedule expansion.

In addition, the airline will launch new service between Baltimore and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan on November 2, further improving access between the US mainland and the Caribbean.

The expansion comes as part of a broader increase in flights from Fort Lauderdale, where JetBlue is adding a total of 27 services across its network.

Airline officials said the move is aimed at meeting continued demand for leisure travel while strengthening Fort Lauderdale’s role as a key gateway between the United States and the Caribbean.

The new routes and expanded frequencies will be available for booking from May 4.
