Felix Marie Kemlyne Lestalie has been crowned Miss World Haiti 2026 and will represent the island at the 75th Anniversary Edition of Miss World in Vietnam later this year.

Lestalie won the crown on June 7 after being selected from a field of 11 finalists. 

She will now begin preparations for the global competition, which will bring together contestants from around the world from August 9 to September 5.

The 25-year-old marketing and public relations graduate is also the founder of several social and business initiatives, with a focus on education, leadership and community engagement.

Following her graduation, Lestalie described the milestone as the start of a new chapter, expressing her excitement to apply her knowledge, embrace new opportunities and take on future challenges.

The Miss World Haiti Organisation described Lestalie as a contestant recognised for her elegance, determination and commitment, highlighting the values that align with the Miss World platform’s Beauty With a Purpose mission, which encourages contestants to develop initiatives that create meaningful impact in their communities.

Speaking to the Miss World Organisation after receiving the crown, Lestalie said representing Haiti was an honour and an opportunity to showcase the strength and spirit of her country.

“Representing Haiti is a great responsibility and a privilege. I look forward to sharing our culture, our resilience and the stories of our people on the Miss World stage while continuing to use my voice to make a positive impact,” she said.

Lestalie will follow in the footsteps of Miss World Haiti 2025 Christee Guirand, who represented the country at the 72nd Miss World Festival in India and advanced to the Top 40, placing in the Top 10 in the Americas and Caribbean region.

“Representing Haiti has been an immense privilege. This experience allowed me to grow, gain a deeper appreciation for the richness of our people, and embody, in my own way, the values of courage, resilience, and hope that define our nation,” Guirand said.

No Haitian woman has ever won Miss World and Lestalie is hoping to take home the coveted crown.
