Police in Anguilla have identified the victim of Friday morning’s fatal shooting in Blowing Point as 43-year-old Brandon Romney, as investigators continue their search for those responsible.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) said officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 7am on July 10.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Romney, a resident of Blowing Point, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His killing brings Anguilla’s murder toll for 2026 to six.
Police extended condolences to Romney’s family and announced a reward of up to US$10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing.
