Dellison Charles

The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) has appointed Trinidadian aviation executive Dellison Charles as its new General Manager, effective July 13.

Charles brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across the aviation, logistics and service industries in the Caribbean and Latin America.

According to the GAA, he has held senior leadership positions with FedEx Express, Copa Airlines and the eZone Group, where he led multidisciplinary teams and implemented initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer experience, employee engagement and overall business performance.

In his new role, Charles will provide strategic leadership for the airport’s operations, business objectives and long-term growth initiatives.

The authority said his experience in airport operations, regulatory compliance, workforce development and operational excellence positions him to lead the organisation’s continued development.

Chair of the GAA Board of Directors, Shornda Cadore, welcomed the appointment, expressing confidence that Charles’ leadership would help advance the authority’s strategic priorities.

“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Charles as our new General Manager. We are confident that his vision and expertise will help advance the airport’s strategic priorities while continuing to deliver safe, efficient, and exceptional service to our passengers, partners, and community,” Cadore said.

The authority also thanked Kurt Williams, who served as Acting General Manager during the transition period, saying his leadership ensured continuity of operations and progress on key organisational initiatives.
