Thirteen artistes have earned places in the finals of Antigua and Barbuda’s Groovy and Jumpy Monarch competitions, where they will attempt to dethrone reigning Party Monarch Tian Winter.

The finalists were selected following the semi-finals held at Carnival City on July 17.

The Jumpy Monarch finalists are Menace XL, Lyrical Reds, King Young Vice, Dior, Ballo, Kid Fresh, Vicious and Dan Knowledge.

The Groovy Monarch finalists are Empress, Queen Thalia, Raine, Vicious, Young Lyrics, Dior, Bless Eye and Menace XL.

Menace XL, Dior and Vicious each qualified for both the Groovy and Jumpy Monarch finals.

The competitions will culminate on August 2 at Carnival City, where finalists will battle Tian Winter for the two Party Monarch titles.
