Trinidad and Tobago was rocked by two earthquakes in the space of just over an hour Monday morning.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) said the first quake occurred at 5:45 am off the northeast coast of Tobago.
It measured magnitude 5.1 and occurred at a depth of 59 kilometres.
At 6:55 am, Trinidad was shaken by a magnitude 5.0 earthquake, which occurred 69 kilometres northwest of Port of Spain.
