Bianty Rojer-Gomperty has been crowned Miss Universe Curaçao 2026 after emerging victorious in Saturday night’s competition.

Rojer-Gomperty beat five other contestants to succeed Camille Thomas and earn the right to represent Curaçao at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 24.

She also dominated the special awards, taking home the Echo of Purpose Award, Miss Elegance and Best Catwalk.

The first-runner up was Tyiandra Brunker while second runner up was Sharepha Pauletta, who also won Miss Photogenic.

A teacher, television host and biochemist, Rojer-Gomperty secured the title with a heartfelt final answer when asked what kind of woman she hoped people would see when they looked at her as Miss Universe Curaçao.

“I would like to be seen as a woman that did not let life define her, but refine her,” she said.

Reflecting on her personal journey with her mother, she said the experience had taught her kindness, compassion and understanding.

“If I were to be crowned your next Miss Universe Curaçao, I would like to be seen as more than just a queen with a crown, but a daughter on a mission and a woman with a purpose to represent, to inspire, and to remind everyone that, like me, even through your pain, you can still rise in your own life,” she said.

She ended her response by encouraging others not to let hardship define them.

“Because I know we’ve all been through pain. We’ve all felt alone. We’ve all questioned our worth. We’ve felt guilt and grief. But that is life. You are the author of your own life. You are the architect of your own destiny.”

Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch was present to witness the crowning ceremony.

Rojer-Gomperty will now prepare to represent Curaçao at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico later this year.
