A 54-year-old man is St Vincent and the Grenadines’ latest murder victim after he was shot dead in Kingstown early Tuesday morning.

Mark Shallow, a resident of Kingstown/Georgetown, was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds after police responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of White Chapel Road at around 12:30 a.m.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a District Medical Officer.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who may have information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
