CHARLESTOWN, Nevis —The murder toll in St Kitts and Nevis has climbed to six for 2026 after two people were found dead at a home in Brown Pasture, Nevis, Thursday morning.
The victims have been identified as 52-year-old Caroline Denese Rodriques and 61-year-old Mario Andrew, both of Brown Pasture.
The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) said the bodies were discovered between 12:30 am and 1:30 am on September 3.
Both had sustained injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have taken one person into custody in connection with the deaths.
The individual has not been identified and no charges have been announced.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
