Pop star Rihanna celebrated her daughter Rocki Irish Mayers’ first birthday by sharing a collection of photos and videos documenting her first year as a girl mom after having two boys.
Rocki Irish turned one on September 13, and Rihanna marked the milestone with an Instagram post featuring moments from her daughter’s first year.
“Who let me have a daughter, bro?” the Umbrella singer captioned the post.
Among the clips was a video of Rocki Irish cooing as Rihanna called her the “perfect baby girl”.
In another, mother and daughter went head-to-head over a Louis Vuitton bag, with Rocki Irish showing she may already have an interest in fashion.
“Can I have my bag please? Let mommy have it,” Rihanna says in the video as she takes the bag, prompting Rocki Irish to burst into tears.
Rihanna then jokingly placed the blame on Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams.
“Pharrell, you see what you did?” she said.
Rihanna also shared a glimpse of another milestone, with Rocki Irish joining her mother for a glam session with Fenty Beauty.
Earlier this month, Rihanna’s best friend Melissa Forde gave fans a glimpse of Rocki Irish’s first birthday celebration, where mother and daughter wore matching bubblegum pink outfits.
Forde shared a photo of the pair alongside a birthday message for Rocki Irish.
“Happyyy Birthdayyy Rocki Irish I can’t believe Auntie’s baby is alreadyyy a yearrr🥹😍😍😍 Bday twinning wit your beautiful mama and my sestahhh @badgalriri 🥰💖💖💖🥳🥳🎉🎉🥳🎁🎁🎈🎈🎀🎀🎊,” Forde wrote.
