Bajan pop star Rihanna has given fans a rare glimpse of her three children during a family trip to Barbados, taking them back to the neighbourhood where she grew up.

The 38-year-old singer and businesswoman shared a series of photos on Instagram showing herself with her sons, RZA, 4, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki Irish outside the modest home on Westbury New Road, now known as Rihanna Drive.

“One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive,’” she captioned the photos.

“Trippy how life works! And the Glory STILL and WILL ALWAYS belong to the Almighty Creator!!!”

Rihanna lived in the house, now called “Sonia Ville”, from the age of five until she was 16.

The privately owned property has since become a landmark for visitors to Barbados, with fans often stopping to take photos outside the home and at a spot on the pavement marking where Rihanna once walked.

This is not Rihanna’s first trip home with her children.

She frequently returns to Barbados during the summer and takes part in the Crop Over Festival.
