Caribbean teams recorded three wins in League A action on Sunday as the 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League Group Stage continued across Group A.

Haiti, Curaçao and the Dominican Republic all secured victories, with Trinidad and Tobago suffering a 2-1 defeat at home.

Haiti 2, Costa Rica 0

Haiti opened Sunday’s Group A action with a 2-0 victory over Costa Rica at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde opened the scoring in the ninth minute, sending a right-footed shot past the Costa Rica defence.

Haiti doubled its lead in the 39th minute when Francisco Calvo scored an own goal, securing the Caribbean side’s second goal and the win.

Curaçao 6, Nicaragua 1

Curaçao continued its strong start to the group with a 6-1 victory over Nicaragua at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad.

The Blue Wave opened the scoring six minutes into the second half through Livano Comenencia, who fired a right-footed shot from outside the box.

Kenji Gorré doubled Curaçao’s advantage in the 11th minute before Leandro Bacuna headed home from a corner in the 19th minute.

Juninho Bacuna added a fourth in the 27th minute, while Gorré scored his second of the night to make it 5-0.

Nicaragua pulled one back through Jaime Moreno in the 62nd minute with a left-footed volley from outside the box.

Jürgen Locadia restored Curaçao’s five-goal advantage in the 88th minute, completing the scoring and securing the Caribbean side’s second Group A victory.

Trinidad and Tobago 1, Dominican Republic 2

The Dominican Republic completed the day’s Group A action with a 2-1 comeback victory over Trinidad and Tobago at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain.

Daniel Phillips put the Soca Warriors ahead in the 37th minute with a right-footed strike from the edge of the box.

The Dominican Republic levelled just before half-time when Heinz Mörschel found the net with a right-footed long-range effort in the 42nd minute.

Mariano Díaz completed the comeback five minutes into the second half, scoring with a right-footed shot in the 50th minute to give the Dominican Republic all three points.
