Goals rained nonstop as regional teams battled on January 31, when Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers continued with a flurry of high-scoring encounters across Groups C, D and E in Curaçao, Aruba and Nicaragua.

In Group C action at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao, Antigua and Barbuda outscored Saint Lucia 5-3 in an open contest. 

Keitonya Skepple delivered a standout performance with a hat trick, opening her account in the 35th minute from a powerful free kick before adding a header in the 78th and her third goal deep into stoppage time. 

Nafisa Quashie also found the net twice, scoring in the 42nd and 73rd minutes. 

Saint Lucia responded through Kayla Polius in the 54th minute and Kyla Lionel in the 90th plus 4, but were unable to close the gap.

Earlier in the same group, Haiti moved to the top of the standings with a 3-0 victory over the Cayman Islands.

 Keisha Gue struck early in the 7th minute after converting a rebound, while Léa Jacques doubled the advantage with a curling free kick in the 31st. 

Substitute Daphney Louis sealed the result in the 90th plus 1.

Group D matches at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba saw Honduras claim a 3-1 win over Guyana. 

Ilsy Sevilla set the tone with a long-range free kick in the 7th minute, followed by Jazlyn Sánchez’s header just before halftime. 

Valentina Chavarria made an immediate impact after the break, scoring two minutes after coming on, while Guyana pulled one back late through Anaya Joseph.

Aruba delighted home supporters with a commanding 5-1 victory over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. 

Zyana Rogers struck inside the opening minute and later added her second from a free kick in the 82nd. Goals from Adannayah Breinburg, Kaylee Vlijt and Liandra Angela extended the hosts’ dominance, while Amunique Edwards scored Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ lone goal from a high free kick.

In Group E at the Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago Stadium in Managua, Anguilla secured a 3-1 win over the British Virgin Islands. 

Phaedra Romney opened the scoring in the 17th minute, with McKenzie Niles doubling the lead before halftime. 

The British Virgin Islands netted their first goal of the tournament early in the second half, but Joden Henry ended any comeback hopes with Anguilla’s third in the 78th.

Costa Rica capped the day with the most emphatic result, overpowering Grenada 8-1 to sit atop Group E. 

Lucía Paniagua led the scoring with a hat trick, while Nubia Medina added a brace as Costa Rica spread the goals among five different players. 

Grenada’s lone response came from Alexis Hypolite in the 18th minute.
