ST JOHN’S, Antigua and Barbuda — An 18-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man were shot dead in Creek Side, Antigua, on October 20.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda said the shooting occurred between 4 pm and 5 pm when a silver Honda CR-V carrying multiple occupants drove into the area and stopped outside a shop.

Police allege that more than one person exited the vehicle armed with firearms and opened fire, striking both victims multiple times.

The victims were taken to hospital but were later pronounced dead.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information that could assist investigators to come forward.
