Police in Anguilla are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Blowing Point area on Saturday morning.

According to the Royal Anguilla Police Force, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:46 am to a location near a Chinese restaurant in Blowing Point after receiving reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, police found a 19-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers remained at the location conducting enquiries as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting continue.

If the January 7 death of Jamaican national Romaine Ovardo Carby is ultimately ruled a homicide, this latest killing would be Anguilla’s second murder of 2026.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that may assist the investigation to contact the Royal Anguilla Police Force or submit information anonymously via SecureAXA.com.
