A 49-year-old man has been charged with murder and arson in connection with the death of Romaine Ovardo Carby, which occurred on January 7.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) said Krishna Baijnauth, a resident of George Hill, was formally charged on January 10, in relation to the homicide and arson.
Carby, a Jamaican national, was found dead in a burnt car following the incident, which police have been treating as a homicide.
Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.
In a statement, the police force extended condolences to Carby’s family and loved ones.
