Donald Price has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after being convicted of the murder of Kimberley Fleming in Anguilla.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force said Price received the sentence during an appearance at the High Court of Justice (Criminal Assizes) on December 18, after a jury found him guilty of murder, contrary to section 187(1) of the Criminal Code.

The court also ordered that the 1,309 days Price spent on remand be credited toward his sentence and included in the calculation of remission.

Fleming was reported missing on February 20, 2022, and her body was later discovered in the South Hill area.

Police said the sentence reflects the seriousness with which the courts treat violent crime and reaffirmed their commitment to working with judicial authorities to uphold public safety and the rule of law.
