The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has charged 25-year-old Ackiel Davis, an alleged serial rapist, in connection with a string of sexual offences committed across multiple parishes between 2023 and 2026.

Davis, a resident of Cornwall Barracks in Moore Town, Portland, faces several serious charges, including rape, grievous sexual assault, production of child pornography, and the use of a computer for malicious communication.

According to the JCF, the most recent charges against Davis stem from an incident involving a 16-year-old girl. 

Investigators reveal that Davis’s pattern involved obtaining explicit images and videos of females, including minors, and using that material to blackmail them. 

He allegedly threatened to leak the content on social media unless the victims met his sexual demands.

Davis was taken into custody on January 15, following an intensive investigation. 

He was positively identified during an Identification Parade on Tuesday, January 20, and subsequently charged.

At the time of his latest arrest, Davis was out on bail for similar crimes involving four other complainants between 2023 and 2024.

Superintendent Victor Barrett of the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) condemned the suspect’s actions and his exploitation of the digital space.

“Davis exploited the digital space to target and terrorise vulnerable individuals, including minors, through a calculated pattern of blackmail and sexual violence,” Barrett said. 

“The fact that these offences were committed while the accused was already on bail for similar crimes is a blatant disregard for the safety of our citizens.”

Davis is scheduled to appear in court on February 10, 2026, regarding his previous matters. A court date for the new set of charges is currently being finalised.
