Caribbean Football Union (CFU) President Lyndon Cooper has been elected vice president for the Caribbean region of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).

The St Lucian football administrator was elected during CONCACAF’s 41st Ordinary Congress, which was held in Managua, Nicaragua.

Cooper, who also serves as president of the St Lucia Football Association, was the sole candidate for the post and was elected unopposed.

He has led the CFU since March 2025, succeeding Barbados Football Association president Randy Harris, who did not seek re-election after being elected to the FIFA Council.

Prior to assuming the CFU presidency, Cooper served as the union’s vice president, a role he held for 13 years.
