Police in St Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 39-year-old woman in Richland Park.

Authorities said Sasha-Ann Caine, a resident of the community, was found unresponsive by a friend around 4 am February 3.

Police said no foul play is suspected at this time.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted this week to determine the exact cause of death.
