Police in Grenada are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 22-year-old woman whose body was discovered in St Andrew.
The Royal Grenada Police Force identified the deceased as Aleandra Lett Hypolite of Crochu, St Andrew.
Officers said that on February 6, 2026, they received information that led them to conduct enquiries in Café, St Andrew, where Hypolite’s motionless body was found in bushes. Authorities reported that she had wounds to her face and other parts of her body.
A medical doctor later examined the body at the scene and pronounced her dead.
Police said a post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
Commissioner of Police and members of the Royal Grenada Police Force extended condolences to Hypolite’s family and friends as investigations continue. Authorities noted that further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
