The The Bahamas has launched a new marketing campaign aimed at wooing Canadian visitors, unveiling a three-dimensional digital out-of-home display in Toronto as part of its winter tourism push.
The initiative, led by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, follows a record-breaking 2025 in which the destination welcomed 12.5 million visitors — the highest annual total ever recorded.
The campaign positions The Bahamas as a collection of more than 700 islands and cays, including 16 distinct island destinations, each offering its own culture and experiences.
Branded under the “A Lifetime of Islands” platform, the activation features music by Lenny Kravitz, including his hit Fly Away, underscoring the message that The Bahamas offers more than a single holiday and invites travellers to return repeatedly to discover something new.
The immersive 3D digital billboard ran at Yonge-Dundas Square from January 5 to February 1, 2026, encouraging passersby to pause and imagine clear waters and island life amid the Canadian winter.
Toronto marked the second winter digital out-of-home activation under the campaign, following a December display at Aventura Mall.
The marketing push coincides with expanded airlift from Canada. In 2025, Air Canada increased service to The Bahamas by 50%, adding weekly flights from Ottawa and Halifax in December, while Porter Airlines launched twice-weekly service from Ottawa.
Tourism officials said the campaign is intended to reinforce The Bahamas as an accessible winter escape and encourage repeat visitation across its islands.
