ST GEORGE’S, Grenada — A sergeant of police in Grenada has been charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a dependent and one count of indecent assault.

Michael Prince appeared before the St George’s Magistrate’s Court on October 27 and was granted bail in the sum of EC$50,000 with one surety.

His bail conditions require him to surrender all travel documents, obtain court permission before travelling outside Grenada and refrain from interfering with witnesses or their family members. He must also relocate for the duration of the proceedings.

The matter has been adjourned to January 21, 2027, for a further hearing at the Grenville Magistrate’s Court.

Prince has since been suspended from active duty with the Royal Grenada Police Force.
