Police in Grenada are investigating the death of a 39-year-old man whose body was discovered on March 7 in Tempe, St George.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a body in the area and upon arrival found Omar Matthew motionless in a drain with wounds to the right side of his head and other parts of his body.

Matthew’s body was examined at the scene and he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

Police said a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
