Police in St Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on Mount Young Mountain in Georgetown.

The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said officers responded to reports of a body in the area on July 1. When they arrived, they found Garon Jackson, also known as “Blade,” unresponsive with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

Jackson was a resident of New Chapmans.

His body was later removed from the scene, and a post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.

Police have not released any further details as investigations continue.
