A 34-year-old man is the US Virgin Islands’ latest murder victim. 

The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) reported Anthony Hazelwood was shot dead at the Croixville Apartments on July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:15pm.

No further details was provided. 

The territory’s murder toll now stands at 26.

Police have asked anyone with information to assist with their investigation.
