Police in the British Virgin Islands are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the Huntums Ghut area during the early hours of July 6.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said the victim was taken to the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital after the shooting, but later died while receiving treatment.

Police have not released the man’s identity or disclosed what led to the shooting.
