The St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF) has appointed Canadian Michael Findlay as the new head coach of the Vincy Heat senior men’s national team.
The federation announced that Findlay has signed a 24-month contract and will also provide strategic leadership for the country’s Under-23 and Under-20 men’s national teams.
The 62-year-old brings several years of coaching experience at both the international and youth levels.
Findlay served as an assistant coach with Canada’s Under-17 and Under-20 national teams between 2008 and 2011 before joining the country’s senior men’s team as an assistant coach from 2013 to 2016.
He also has experience in the Caribbean, having coached Grenada’s senior men’s national team from 2021 to 2022.
He most recently led Bermuda’s men’s national team from 2023 to 2026.
