Aeroméxico will launch nonstop service between Mexico City and Nassau in March 2027, creating the first scheduled direct connection between Mexico and the two Caribbean destinations.

The inaugural Nassau flight is scheduled for March 19, 2027, one day after Aeroméxico begins a new nonstop service between Mexico City and Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Both routes will operate three times weekly, subject to government approvals.

The Nassau service will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with flights departing Mexico City at 9:10 a.m. and arriving in Nassau at 3 p.m.

Return flights will leave Nassau at 4:15 p.m. and arrive in Mexico City at 6:30 p.m.

The 166-seat service will use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft and will connect with Aeroméxico’s domestic network of more than 40 destinations across Mexico.

The airline said the two new Caribbean routes make it the first carrier to offer scheduled service from Mexico to both The Bahamas and Jamaica.

They will join existing Aeroméxico services to Punta Cana and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and Havana, Cuba.

The Bahamas Minister of Tourism Glenys Hanna Martin welcomed the Nassau route, describing it as an important expansion of the country’s reach into Latin America.

“Aeroméxico’s decision to connect Mexico City and Nassau is a landmark step in expanding The Bahamas’ reach across Latin America,” Hanna Martin said.

She said the service will strengthen international connectivity, improve access from Mexico and support efforts to diversify The Bahamas’ tourism source markets and create economic opportunities for Bahamians.

Aeroméxico Senior Vice President of Global Sales Giancarlo Mulinelli said the new services will give passengers direct access to Caribbean destinations while strengthening the airline’s network from Mexico City.

“The addition of The Bahamas and Jamaica to our Caribbean network reflects our commitment to offering customers more world-class leisure destinations,” Mulinelli said.

Aeroméxico said it plans to offer more than 4,000 weekly seats to the Caribbean across 27 weekly frequencies during the 2027 Easter season.

Tickets for the new services are available through Aeroméxico’s sales channels.
