The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the death of a 50-year-old man following a diving incident at sea on January 29.
Police said initial reports indicate the man was diving 8 pm when he was reportedly struck by a fish while underwater.
The injured man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
His identity was not released by police but they revealed he was a 50-year-old of Bad Cox, Anguilla.
An investigation has been launched, and police said the matter is being treated as a suspicious death pending further enquiries and forensic examinations.
