Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis Terrance Drew received a guard of honour as he was formally welcomed to Jubilee House for his official visit with John Dramani Mahama, President of Ghana, on March 04.
The ceremony marked a key moment in efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations, with discussions expected to focus on expanding cooperation in education, trade, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
Drew’s visit highlights the historical and cultural connections between the Caribbean and Africa, as both countries seek to build deeper partnerships aimed at development and shared prosperity.
Following the welcome ceremony, the two leaders held bilateral talks at Jubilee House centred on advancing collaboration and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
The official visit is continuing with additional engagements aimed at reinforcing relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Ghana while fostering closer links between their citizens.
