A British national has been charged with multiple drug offences in St Vincent and the Grenadines after cocaine was allegedly found in his luggage at the airport.

The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said Warren-Lee Davies was intercepted during routine screening in the departures area of Argyle International Airport while preparing to board a flight to the United Kingdom.

Davies appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on March 20, where he pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a controlled drug, drug trafficking, and intent to export.

He was remanded into custody, and the matter was adjourned to the Serious Offences Court on March 23 for sentencing.
