The Turks and Caicos Islands will expand its air links with the United States after United Airlines announced a new nonstop route between Denver International Airport and Providenciales International Airport beginning in December 2026.

The weekly service, which starts on December 19, will provide a direct connection between the destination and the western United States, while expanding United’s presence in Turks and Caicos.

The announcement follows a recent tourism roadshow in Denver led by Premier Charles Washington Misick, where officials highlighted opportunities to strengthen ties with the market.

Misick said the new route will create new possibilities for tourism, business and investment.

“This new direct service between Denver and Providenciales is tremendously exciting for the Turks and Caicos Islands. Denver is one of America’s great aviation gateways, opening convenient access to Colorado, California, and the entire western United States,” he said.

“Having already established strong links to the eastern and midwestern markets, we are delighted to now extend our reach to the west. We are confident this route will unlock significant opportunities for tourism, business, and investment and further strengthen our ties with the United States.”

Tourism Minister Zhavargo Jolly said the new service supports the country’s efforts to diversify its visitor markets and attract travellers whose interests align with the destination’s tourism product.

“This new service between Denver and Providenciales represents another important step in expanding the global reach of the Turks and Caicos Islands,” Jolly said.

He added that the route will help create direct access to one of North America’s most dynamic regions, particularly for visitors interested in luxury travel, wellness experiences, diving, outdoor adventure and second-home ownership.

Minister of Physical Planning and Infrastructure Development Arlington Musgrove said the announcement reflects continued collaboration between government agencies, tourism stakeholders and airline partners.

“Expanding air access is critical to sustaining tourism growth, and we are pleased that United Airlines continues to recognise the immense opportunity that exists here in the Turks and Caicos Islands,” Musgrove said.

United Airlines Senior Manager of Latin, Caribbean and Hawaii Network Planning Tom Kozlowski said the airline was excited to provide another nonstop option between the Caribbean and Denver.

“United is the largest carrier in Denver, and this new addition will be the westernmost service from Turks and Caicos to the US, opening new tourism opportunities,” he said.

The route will operate every Saturday using a Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft with 179 seats, including 20 business class seats and 159 economy seats.

Flights from Denver will depart at 10 and arrive in Providenciales at 5, while the return service will leave Providenciales at 1:35 pm and arrive in Denver at 5:21 p.m.
