A 30-year-old man has become St Vincent and the Grenadines’ latest murder victim after he was shot dead in Lowmans Leeward.

Police said Amir Roberts, a labourer from Lowmans Leeward, was walking along the Lowmans Leeward Public Road when he was attacked and shot.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The killing has pushed St Vincent and the Grenadines’ murder toll to 28.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
