Police in St Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating a shooting in Lowmans Leeward that left one man dead and two others injured.

The incident occurred shortly after 5pm on June 23 when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area.

Upon arrival, police found an adult male known as “Lush” suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the District Medical Officer.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
Two other men were injured during the shooting and are currently receiving medical treatment at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
