A 52-year-old man was shot dead in St Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday.

Police reported that Michael Jackson, a labourer from Yambou, was in the vicinity of the Memorial Funeral Home in Mesopotamia just after 11 pm when he was shot.

Jackson was transported to the Levi Latham Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
